A day walking the Cleveland Way at Kildale brought splendid views of Roseberry Topping and Captain Cook’s monument. It also brought a warm sun offset by a stiff cool breeze. The latter did little to mitigate the effect of the UV rays of the former on my unprotected face. After using the razor this morning, it was a case of applying aftersun rather than aftershave.
